On Friday 8 October, the Institute of Criminology (IoC) hosted its annual Criminology Day, bringing to a close the new students' Induction Week. Posters from the IoC's research centres were displayed in the lecture rooms with socially distanced measures in place.
Members of the VRC attended the event (from left to right: Maria Ttofi, Manuel Eisner, Simone Castello and Paolo Campana) at different times to avoid crowding so we did not manage to get a group picture this year including all the staff and students.
The London Medieval Murder Map featured in two posters, which were printed for a special event in London.
Our other research posters on the day: the VRC researchers' individual projects, the z-proso and the EBLS posters.
For the time being we have no events planned, but the IoC has resumed its Thursday evening talks, which are offered as a hybrid event (in-person and on zoom). Find out more by visiting the Institute's website.
