Dr Paolo Campana, a criminology expert part of the Violence Research Centre (VRC), focuses on child trafficking in a paper published in Nature Sustainability, entitled Unravelling Child Trafficking Routes.
"The sixteenth Sustainable Development Goal points at the need to reduce human trafficking victims. [...] What we know about trafficking routes and patterns is also very limited, and often anecdotal," he explains.
